It was proposed that under Chirag Yojana, the benefit of financial help will be extended to families with income below Rs 1.8 lakh and in the intial phase of application , free education shall be targeted to be achieved providing for upto 25000 students of Haryana . For kids under this scheme , once the application is approved , the fee of the students will be paid through the education department of Haryana.

The Government of Haryana launched the scheme of Chirag Yojana 2023 where the objective was to help poor families and people from the lower economic background to take admission in private school and also assistance shall be provided to help qualified students from government schools to private schools in the state.
